Archers Jersey Ice Cream, of Walworth Gate near Darlington, has signed up for a unit at the Richmond Station.
The Archer family began milking Jersey cows at their farm in 2002 after losing the original herd of Holstein Friesians to foot and mouth.
The herd is now one of the largest Jersey herds in the country, with 350 animals all raised within strict Freedom Food guidelines.
Making ice cream was a natural step with all that lovely quality raw material to hand. Susan Archer began with just a few flavours and in 2004 opened an ice cream parlour at the farm which now regularly attracts 1000 visitors a day in the summer.
By Easter 2008 Archers Ice Cream will be available at The Station.
