Set in more than 70 acres of Yorkshire countryside, Scampston dates back to the early 1700's.

Home to Sir Charles and Lady Legard, the Scampston Estate has been in their family for many generations.

Today, whilst still very much a private residence, it is the Walled Garden and Restaurant that has become a major attraction.

Now, the large open parkland area to the front of the House, is to be promoted as a location for future outdoor type events.

For the past few years the Malton Show has been hosted at Scampston where it has benefited from the excellent ground drainage.

Purple Leaf will be heading up a promotional campaign to introduce Scampston into the eventing scene.
