Martin works with a Government body (he's a Spy - Not!) and is one of the Bass players with the band, we have two in case one can't make it, and also sings!
Martin first started playing bass as a youngster – he’s 60 now and still trying.
In his youth he was in bands that appeared on the same bill as many up-and-coming acts, including the Searchers, Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen, Little Richard, Lulu, Dave Berry, Billy Fury, and even the Beatles!
He’s been known to bash out the odd bit of rhythm guitar (very odd at times!) and to tinkle on the keyboard at home. But he’s more at home on the bass – less strings to worry about.
